《彭博社》表示,蘋果預計在 2024 年底發布最新一代的 AirPods 陣容,比較特別的是,第四代 AirPods 將首度出現雙版本,均採用新設計,能更貼合耳朵、音質顯著提升,標配 USB-C 接孔的充電盒。高階的 AirPods 4 會加入主動降噪功能,並且在充電盒上加入揚聲器,以利開啟「尋找」功能時能發出聲響。

消息透露,第四代 AirPods 上市之後,官網目前販售的第二、三代耳機都會同步下架,至於 AirPods Pro 則要等到明年才會更新。不過,傳聞中具有降噪功能的 AirPods 4 與 AirPods Pro 之間的具體差異,似乎仍待進一步消息。
